Scientific Advisor

Dr. J. David Warren is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Research in Biochemistry at Weill Cornell Medicine and a Senior Principal Scientist at Canary Oncoceutics. An accomplished bioorganic and medicinal chemist, he has advanced multiple compounds into preclinical development. His research spans total chemical synthesis of glycoproteins, photostable fluorophores for imaging, therapeutics for Niemann-Pick type C disease, nucleoside analogs, selective HCN1 inhibitors for neuropathic pain, PET tracers for CXCR4 imaging, and mycobacterial proteasome inhibitors. He contributed to the CURE-PRO platform for targeted protein degradation. Dr. Warren holds a PhD from Colorado State University, completed postdoctoral studies at Memorial Sloan-Kettering, and has 13 patents and 50+ publications. He advises Akelos, Lavior, Dyo Biotechnologies, and Eresina Labs.
