Our Commitment to Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

At SynSmart, we believe that innovation and responsibility must go hand in hand. As a research-driven organization, we understand that our success isn’t just measured by scientific breakthroughs, it’s also defined by how well we care for our people, our communities, and the environment we share.

That’s why Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) is not just a policy at SynSmart, it’s a promise.

We’ve created a workplace where safety, sustainability, and well-being are built into everything we do. Here’s how we make that real:

We follow the rules and go beyond them.

We comply with all EHS regulations, but we don’t stop there. Wherever possible, we aim to exceed expectations, setting higher internal standards because it’s the right thing to do.

We stay alert to risks and act on them.

Science moves fast, and so do we. We continuously assess risks in our operations and put strong safeguards in place to protect our teams and our surroundings.

    We invest in our people.

From lab technicians to leadership, every employee receives meaningful training to ensure they can work safely and make informed decisions. EHS is everyone’s responsibility and we support one another in living that every day.

We protect the environment starting at the source.

Pollution prevention begins with smart choices. We handle hazardous materials responsibly, use clean technologies where possible, and are always looking for greener ways to do our work.

    We’re prepared for the unexpected.

Accidents can happen  but preparation saves lives. We maintain detailed emergency response plans and make sure everyone knows what to do, when it matters most.

    We listen and engage.

We’re stronger when we work together. We actively collaborate with employees, clients, regulators, and our neighbors to ensure our EHS efforts are transparent, responsive, and community-conscious.

    We learn and grow.

Through regular audits and reviews, we hold ourselves accountable. We’re always learning, always improving,  because that’s how real change happens.
